RESERVATION POLICY:
Single/double occupancy. A welcome reception on the arrival date from 5- 6 pm EST and a full hearty breakfast is included in your room rate. A third person added to the room results in additional $25 to room charge.
If you have medical dietary restrictions or food allergies you need to advise us at minimum 72 hours prior to your arrival date.
Check-in is 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. We do not have a 24/7 reservation desk. Late arrivals can be accommodated with prior arrangements.
Hot, full breakfast is served between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. Guests are encouraged to let us know if the time for their breakfast needs to be different, we are happy to try to accommodate. Outside of that, Between 7:30 and 10am, a non-hot buffet breakfast will be available for guests to help themselves. Check-out is 11:00 a.m.
Due to the historic nature of Amanda’s Bequest Bed and Breakfast and for the safety and comfort of all our guests:
Smoking is NOT permitted.
Burning of candles is NOT permitted.
We can not accommodate pets. (The Dog Star Ranch is a fantastic local place to to leave your treasured dog. They will love it, and you will too. http://www.dogstarranch.com/home.htm)
We can not accommodate children under 10 unless it is in a whole house reservation.
All reservations, including gift certificates, must be secured with a valid MC or Visa. These Credit cards, Travelers Checks and Cash accepted for final payment.
A prepayment of 50% of the total booking amount, secured by valid credit card will confirm your reservation with the balance due upon arrival. Whole-House (2 Rooms) Bookings require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit.
High Season Rates Apply: Memorial Weekend through Halloween, and Winter Holidays.
Low Season Rates Apply: Nov 1 to Memorial Day Weekend. Does not include Winter Holidays.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Amanda’s Bequest is a small Bed and Breakfast Inn; consequently, cancellations affect us significantly. Your deposit is 50% of your total reservation.
Cancellations made up to 14 days before the arrival date will result in a full refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative fee per room. Cancellations made up to 8 days before arrival date will result in a 50% refund of your deposit, less $20 administrative fee per room. Cancellations made within 7 days of your arrival date will result in the forfeiture of the deposit, unless we are able to re-book, in which case you will receive a 50% refund.
Guests are responsible for the full reservation amount. No discounts or refunds for shortened stays after arrival.
No-shows are charged 100% of the entire reservation.
Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused to our guest rooms. The value of unauthorized items removed from the Amanda’s Bequest and its grounds will be charged to your credit card.
